Wales 3 day swing 27th - 29th April

We were in West Wales today at Aberdovey golf club! Day 1 of the 3 day event with a packed field of over 150 golfers!

Windy morning to start the day and very chilly, however it soon started to warm up. The wind was down front 9 then into back in the morning… then it switched as the tide came in.

Slick greens proved hot to handle throughout the day!

Dave Revell got back to back birdies on 7 and 8, very well done sir!

To start the day Kevin Martin chipped in on the 5th for a great 2 on the tough 201
Yard par 3.

Martin Una had a fabulous trilby hat on so he is today's best dressed golfer… hope it hasn’t blown off Martin!

A monster putt on the 8th by Mark Whitmore was superb!

Day 2 was held at Royal St Davids golf club! Day 2 moving day.

Mill pond conditions this morning, very unlinks like, this continued throughout the day.

Ron Vaz was dressed as a strawberry so he won todays best dressed golfer. Fruit for thought for the other golfers…. Who’s the banana tomorrow at conwy?

Scrap that the banana man has turned up… we have a shared best dressed golfer today, very smart jumper John booth!

It was ever changing on the leaderboard today and all set up for a cracking final day tomorrow. Good luck to all pairs.

The final day of our 3 day Wales swing was at Conwy Golf Club, with a lot of history behind the club and many recent successful tournaments held there including the Curtis Cup 2021, the players were all looking forward to this one out of the 3 days! 

The weather started a little chilly but not a cloud in sight throughout the day. Golfers wore shorts but jackets weren’t in sight!!

Best shot was Richard Crabtree. Who smoked a driver down the centre on the longest drive hole, a massive well done. It was the best shot he hit all day!!!

Best dressed was David Donnell Jones with his matching pink golf attire. He paired this well with his neon pink driver!!

Best Putt was James Pegg on 6th hole, to make par must have been about 30ft!!!!

The course was in cracking condition. Nothing but good feedback, even caught on the interviews we did throughout the day.
